Academic background

Mr. Prasad completed his basic and higher surgical training in Manchester Hospitals. He was trained as a Specialist Registrar in General Surgery subspecialty breast and reconstructive surgery at The Christie, Wythenshawe. He was appointed Consultant General Surgery at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in July 2006.

Mr. Prasad provides Breast and General Surgery Services. All suspected breast cancer referrals are seen within two weeks and the Breast Unit constantly achieves near 100% with all access targets. He is member of the Network Breast Cancer Site Specific Group of the Greater Manchester and Cheshire Cancer Network
